Frequently Asked Questions — EVO Review Lab
Version 2.0 · Last update: July 26, 2026
General
1. What is EVO Review Lab?
EVO Review Lab is a personalized review service for online poker players. You upload your played hands (Hand History), the system analyzes them, and returns the EVO Report: an interactive page where EVO's voice explains where you're making mistakes and what to study next week, while you see charts and spots.
The service is open: you create your account, upload your hands and get the free Check. No selection, no waitlist. If you then want the full review, you unlock the Deep whenever you want.
2. What is EVO?
EVO is the AI coach that performs the technical analysis of your gameplay. It is not a generic chatbot or an automated trading system. It is an AI layer specifically trained to recognize gameplay patterns, identify leaks (recurring mistakes), and produce study recommendations based on your real data.
Reviews generated by EVO always pass through human validation (Poker QA) before delivery.
3. Is this a gambling service?
No. EVO Review Lab is not a gambling service and does not facilitate access to gambling in any way. It is a technical analysis and training service on the sporting aspect of poker, considered by Italian law as a game of skill.
The service is intended for people who already play autonomously on legally authorized poker rooms and want to improve their technical skills.
4. Do I have to be of legal age to use the service?
Yes. The service is reserved exclusively for adults (18 years or older) under Italian law. Registration constitutes an implicit declaration of legal age. If you are registered in the Self-Exclusion Register (R.U.A.) of the Italian Customs and Monopolies Agency, access to the service is not permitted.
How to start
5. How do I start? Does it cost anything?
You create your account with your email, export the Hand Histories from your poker room and upload them. The first step is the Check and it's free: no card required, no payment data, no obligation to buy afterwards.
6. What do I get after uploading my hands?
- —The Check: every leak you have, named with a number, one spot worked through in depth, one drill where the tape stops on one of your hands and it's your call, plus a taste of EVO's voice
- —An email when the review is ready — typically within 48 hours of upload
- —The review stays in your personal area: you reopen it whenever you want and print it if you want it on paper
7. Can I unsubscribe at any time?
Yes. Every email contains an unsubscribe link. You can also write to privacy@ev-maximizer.com to request complete deletion of your data.
Service and how it works
8. Which poker rooms are supported?
PokerStars and iPoker (Lottomatica, Sisal, Eurobet and the other skins on the iPoker network). On iPoker the game has antes, which change the geometry of the pot: the push/fold references you read in the review are calculated taking them into account, not taken from tables without antes. Other rooms may be added based on demand and the technical compatibility of their Hand History formats.
9. How many hands do I need for a credible review?
There is no threshold that blocks you: EVO works with whatever you upload. But the yardstick is statistical, and with a few dozen hands the review thins out on its own — it comments on the spots that are there, without claiming recurring leaks on a sample that can't support them.
The reviews we deliver typically work on a few hundred tournaments or more: that's where the numbers start to carry real weight, because it's the point at which variance stops being able to explain on its own what you see. We work on PokerStars Spin & Go and iPoker Twister: if you play other formats, we're not the right place today.
10. How long does it take to receive a review?
Within 48 hours of the Hand History upload, often less. There is no paid priority queue: reviews are worked in the order they arrive. We aim to deliver sooner as the system matures.
11. Is the review generated by AI only, or is there human review?
Both. The flow is: EVO (AI) generates the technical review → human Poker QA validates technical correctness, removes any overclaim, verifies recommendations are consistent with the player's level → review delivered.
No review leaves the system without passing through human validation.
Hand histories and Privacy
12. Are my hand histories safe?
Yes. Uploaded Hand Histories:
- —are automatically pseudonymized before long-term archiving (identifying nicknames removed)
- —are processed under GDPR, legal basis "contract performance"
- —are automatically deleted 90 days after review delivery, unless you explicitly request retention
- —are never sold, transferred, or used for purposes other than generating your review
For full details, see the Privacy Policy.
13. Can I request deletion of my data?
Yes, at any time. Write to privacy@ev-maximizer.com indicating your email address. Deletion occurs within 30 days of the request, pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR (right to be forgotten).
Plans and payments
14. What's the difference between Check, Deep and Coach?
| Plan | Price | What's included |
|---|---|---|
| EVO Check | €0 | Every leak you have, named with a number, one spot worked through in depth, one drill and a taste of the voice. Repeatable once a month, no card required. |
| EVO Deep | €29.90 one-time | The real review: 10-14 postflop spots from your hands on flop, turn and river, 8-10 drills inside the Regia, EVO's voice across the whole review, your numbers in chip EV, and how wide the opponents you actually face open. You pay once, it stays yours. |
| EVO Coach | €29.90 first month, then €19.90/month | A full Deep every month, always on the new hands you upload. The first month includes your first full Deep. Cancel whenever you want, no strings. |
EVO Check

If you only need one review, take the Deep: it costs the same as the first month of Coach and there's nothing to cancel. Coach makes sense if you upload hands every month and want EVO to stay with you as your game changes.
15. Do I have to wait for an invite to buy?
No. The Check is free and doesn't ask for a card: you create your account, upload your hands and receive it. The Deep and the Coach can be purchased from your personal area whenever you want, with no selection and no waitlist.
16. Can I get a refund?
Yes, in the cases provided:
- —Right of withdrawal 14 days from subscription (Italian Consumer Code), with exceptions for digital content already enjoyed
- —Non-delivery for cause attributable to the service: pro-rata refund
- —Legal warranty of conformity pursuant to Art. 130 Italian Consumer Code
No refunds for subjective dissatisfaction with gaming results (see question 18).
17. Does the Deep I bought expire?
No. A Deep you have purchased is a credit that stays yours and never expires: you use it when you have the right hands to get analysed, even months later. And if you had Coach and you cancel, the Deeps you already paid for still stay yours.
Results and expectations
18. Will I improve my winrate using EVO?
We can't guarantee it, and we will never promise it. Poker is a game of skill with a statistical variance element that no human or AI coach can eliminate.
What we can honestly say is:
- —EVO reduces the time you spend identifying your leaks
- —it makes you study the right things instead of generic content
- —it gives you more information about your game than you can collect on your own
Improvement depends on your study effort and application of recommendations. EVO is a tool, not an automatic winning method.
