EVO Review Lab/FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions — EVO Review Lab

Version 1.0  ·  Last update: May 20, 2026

General

1. What is EVO Review Lab?

EVO Review Lab is a personalized review service for online poker players. You upload your played hands (Hand History), the system analyzes them, and returns the EVO Report: an interactive page where EVO's voice explains where you're making mistakes and what to study next week, while you see charts and spots.

The service is in private beta, currently accessible only via waitlist. Paid plans (Free, Starter, Pro, Elite, Token) will be activated in a subsequent phase.

2. What is EVO?

EVO is the AI coach that performs the technical analysis of your gameplay. It is not a generic chatbot or an automated trading system. It is an AI layer specifically trained to recognize gameplay patterns, identify leaks (recurring mistakes), and produce study recommendations based on your real data.

Reviews generated by EVO always pass through human validation (Poker QA) before delivery.

3. Is this a gambling service?

No. EVO Review Lab is not a gambling service and does not facilitate access to gambling in any way. It is a technical analysis and training service on the sporting aspect of poker, considered by Italian law as a game of skill.

The service is intended for people who already play autonomously on legally authorized poker rooms and want to improve their technical skills.

4. Do I have to be of legal age to use the service?

Yes. The service is reserved exclusively for adults (18 years or older) under Italian law. Registration constitutes an implicit declaration of legal age. If you are registered in the Self-Exclusion Register (R.U.A.) of the Italian Customs and Monopolies Agency, access to the service is not permitted.

Registration and Waitlist

5. Does waitlist registration cost anything?

No, waitlist registration is free. No payment data is requested, and there are no obligations to subscribe to paid plans in the future. You only leave your email to be notified when the service goes live.

6. What do I receive after registering?

  • Email notification when paid plans are activated
  • Free weekly newsletter (if selected at registration) with leak tips, study checklists, practical examples
  • Service communications about beta updates

7. Can I unsubscribe at any time?

Yes. Every email contains an unsubscribe link. You can also write to privacy@ev-maximizer.com to request complete deletion of your data.

Service and how it works

8. Which poker rooms are supported?

At launch of the paid service, PokerStars and iPoker (Lottomatica, Sisal, Eurobet, and other iPoker network skins) will be supported. Other rooms may be added based on demand and technical compatibility of their Hand History formats.

9. How many hands do I need for a credible review?

For a statistically solid review, we recommend a sample of 800-1,000 tables/tournaments played. Below this threshold, the review is qualitative (Spot Review): comments on individual notable hands but cannot identify recurring leaks reliably.

This threshold is not arbitrary — it's the point at which statistical variance in poker allows separation of decisions from random results with reasonable confidence.

10. How long does it take to receive a review?

In beta phase, delivery time is within 48 hours from Hand History upload — often less. Pro and Elite plans have priority queue. We aim to deliver sooner as the system matures.

11. Is the review generated by AI only, or is there human review?

Both. The flow is: EVO (AI) generates the technical review → human Poker QA validates technical correctness, removes any overclaim, verifies recommendations are consistent with the player's level → review delivered.

No review leaves the system without passing through human validation.

Hand histories and Privacy

12. Are my hand histories safe?

Yes. Uploaded Hand Histories:

  • are automatically pseudonymized before long-term archiving (identifying nicknames removed)
  • are processed under GDPR, legal basis "contract performance"
  • are automatically deleted 90 days after review delivery, unless you explicitly request retention
  • are never sold, transferred, or used for purposes other than generating your review

For full details, see the Privacy Policy.

13. Can I request deletion of my data?

Yes, at any time. Write to privacy@ev-maximizer.com indicating your email address. Deletion occurs within 30 days of the request, pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR (right to be forgotten).

No refunds for subjective dissatisfaction with gaming results (see question 18).

17. Do Token Reviews expire?

Yes, Tokens expire 120-180 days from purchase if unused. This ensures realistic workload planning and keeps Token pricing competitive.

Results and expectations

18. Will I improve my winrate using EVO?

We can't guarantee it, and we will never promise it. Poker is a game of skill with a statistical variance element that no human or AI coach can eliminate.

What we can honestly say is:

  • EVO reduces the time you spend identifying your leaks
  • it makes you study the right things instead of generic content
  • it gives you more information about your game than you can collect on your own

Improvement depends on your study effort and application of recommendations. EVO is a tool, not an automatic winning method.
